About the event
Relational supervision group focusing on structural issues.
Participants of this group have reported feeling much more comfortable and able to address these dynamics after attending.
The group structure will offer space for you to bring cases for supervision; and we will also explore how structural dynamics show up in our group and use this as an opportunity to learn how to name and facilitate those. The idea is to hold a space where we are welcome to try and make a mess, and grow our resilience in going to these scary places, helping us to be more grounded in our work and life.
Commitment is to all 5 sessions. This will allow for us to grow together also in relationship. The group will continue after a summer break in September- so you may choose to go on.
It will be for 6 people max.
About me:
I identify as white, queer, non binary, am in a mixed ethnicity and tri-cultural marriage and have one daughter. I have a Diploma in Relational Supervision. I’m a process-oriented psychotherapist and facilitator, UKCP accredited, and a faculty member of Process Work UK and of the Institut für Prozessarbeit Deutschland.
I feel passionately about issues of equality. I strive to have an anti oppressive practice and to be anti racist, and consider this to be a lifelong practice. I have years of commitment to both deepen my understanding of structural dynamics theoretically; to teach and facilitate this and to actively address and change these.

Historically, psychotherapy and counselling trainings have been incredibly weak around this topic. Our profession has been and still largely is majority white, cis, middle class. I don’t want to leave it to racialised or other so called ‘minority’ colleagues to have to be the designated ‘diversity experts’. My dream is that all of us become fluidly able to engage with difference and structural oppression- being aware not just of the individual journey’s but how those fit into the larger context and how to use that awareness to ease our client’s lived experience.
